Cardiff Taxi Knowledge

Build your confidence and develop the local knowledge you need to prepare for Cardiff’s taxi knowledge test. At Scribes Cardiff Ltd, we make learning clear and manageable, helping you understand the routes rather than simply memorise them.

Our Knowledge Training includes all learning materials, together with a specialist route-planning exercise covering Cardiff Council’s routes. These are laid out in an easy-to-follow format, helping you break your preparation into manageable steps and steadily build your understanding of the city.

Route knowledge is an important part of becoming a professional driver. Understanding how roads connect and how to plan a journey helps you feel more prepared for your test and more confident when transporting passengers. Our training gives you a structured way to develop that knowledge, with materials you can revisit as you practise.

We recognise that everyone learns at a different pace. Whether you are familiar with Cardiff or need more time to build your local knowledge, we provide a patient, welcoming environment where you can ask questions, work through unfamiliar routes and strengthen the areas you find most challenging.

One payment, continued learning support. You pay for the Knowledge Training course once and can repeat the training until you pass, at no additional course cost. This gives you the opportunity to revisit the learning, refresh your understanding and continue preparing without paying for the course again.

Our aim is to help you approach your Cardiff taxi knowledge test feeling informed, supported and ready to take the next step towards your taxi driving career.
